BMW Isetta BMW introduced the Isetta 250 in 1955. The Isetta desing was bought from ISO who introduced the Isetta in 1953. The Isetta 250 received a four-stroke 247cc engine from the R25 motorcycle. In 1956 BMW introduced the Isetta 300 which had a 297cc engine from the R27 motorcycle. All Isetta models had four wheels but there are some models made in England who actually had three wheels.
